Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Neuro/stroke experience preferred.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred) 
• Critical Care Course (preferred)

Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)

Preferred Credentials: ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care, ACLS required within 6 months of hire)

Unit/Facility:

• PCU/Stepdown Unit. ITO Interview/Offer.
• Unit has 2 beds (1 room for pediatric patients) but travelers will never be assigned to a peds.
• Intermediate level care - Cardiac drips *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
• Employees may be required to perform other job-related duties as required by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation.
