Travel Nurse (RN) - Nurse Management

A badge photo for facility ID must be provided for submission.
All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.
Phone prescreen must be completed by clinician in order to receive offer. Please be aware to answer calls from 520 area code.

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year LTC experience and previous supervisory experience required.

Required Credentials:
BLS certification is required through AHA or RQI only.

Special Requests:
RTO must be submitted with the application for approval. Holiday RTO is not guaranteed.

Unit Details:
Oversees the operation of the nursing units and, personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units.
Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates Nursing Department activities.
Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts.
Contacts the Director of Nursing during off-hours only for critical issues requiring resolution and leaves appropriate communication at work for all other items.
Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator during off-shift/weekend periods within the identified scope of responsibility.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and holidays are required.

Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float only at Finger Lakes Health facilities.
