Required Skills/Experience: Management with IV nitro, heparin, diltiazem, amio.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Post cath lab experience beneficial. Art line experience appreciated but not required.
Required Credentials: EKG course required.
Special Requests: Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously worked for Marshfield, end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Unit Details: Nurse:patient ratio 1-4, may stretch to 5 if sick call or added CNA support. Common patient population includes cardiac, NSTEMI, post cath lab, A-fib, CHF, GI bleed, detox, respiratory distress, and sepsis. RNs titrate drips including nitro, diltiazem, insulin, heparin, and amio. Charge RN takes 2 patients. CNA ratio 1-10/12 depending on census. RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, Optiflow. Tele techs read strips; GE monitors used.
Shift & Scheduling: 7a-7p, 7p-7a. Usually bring agency in as variable or straight nights. Every other weekend and holiday. Call required.
Floating Requirements: Float to MS or IMC overflow in ICU.
