Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• First-time travelers accepted with CVICU experience.
• Post-cardiac assessment; care of circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella, LVAD, ECMO); titration of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications; interpretation of cardiac waveforms; and hemodynamic monitoring.

Unit Details:

• Surgical and medical cardiac critical care unit caring for patients requiring cardiovascular support. Common diagnoses include post-op CABG, valve replacement/repair, Impella, IABP management, and thoracic aortic aneurysms.
• High-acuity, fast-paced unit.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• Floats within other critical care departments; PCU 1:3 and MS 1:4.
