Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Required Credentials:

• Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
• Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
• Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years.

Special Requests:

• Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
• Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:

• Cardiac telemetry unit caring for all cardiac needs.
• Supported by PCTs and a healthcare unit coordinator.
• Virtual sitter monitoring and monitor techs are available for telemetry patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Travelers are required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period.
• Holidays will be required based on department needs.
