An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: Primary experience: complex medical patients-ETOH, CVA, Sepsis, Wound care, wound vac, antibiotic therapy, IV starts, neuro assessment, restraints, collaborative, team player (call lights/alarms are a shared unit responsibility)
Required Credentials: Associate's Degree or Certificate
Unit/Facility Details: May be assigned medical patients with transfer orders waiting for a bed.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every other or less depending on unit needs, holidays as assigned. On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours. For winter start dates, candidates with demonstrated contract experience in colder climates (Midwest, Northeast, Mountain regions, etc.) are preferred to ensure reliability through weather events.
