Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have a minimum of (5) five years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn care in a healthcare setting to be considered; in some cases, more experience may be required.

Required Credentials:
RNC-EFM may be substituted for AWHONN FHM.

Special Requests:
Housing availability is limited.

Unit Details:
Postpartum rooms are included, and babies room in with their mothers.
The unit averages 40 deliveries per month and 6 C-sections per month.
Charge nurse coverage may be required on occasion after charge nurse training.

Shift & Scheduling:
Must be flexible to work day shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.

Floating Requirements:
Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments where they are qualified to work. This may include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones.
