You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required.
Experience required with IABP, Impella, HM3 LVAD, ECMO, and Zoll Thermoguard.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience in a cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable area preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Dynamic CVCT ICU environment with planned and unplanned admissions from the OR, ER, referring facilities, and the community; staff assignments may change throughout the shift as patients transfer in and out of ICU care.
Planned and emergent procedures are frequently performed on the unit.
Cares for cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, and cardiac medical patients, including CABG, valve repair/replace, aneurysm repair, aortic dissection repair, LVAD, thoracic surgery, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and arrhythmia management.
Shift & Scheduling:
Day or night shifts, working 0700-1930 or 1900-0730.
Every other weekend.
Some holidays.
No call.
