Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
Processes patient through the surgical experience in a timely fashion to maintain departmental efficiencies.
Maintains a high success rate for IV starts on the first attempt.
Maintains proper sterile technique throughout the procedure by diligent observation, instruction and supervision in the use of sterile technique.
Ensures that all areas of procedure documentation are complete and accurate.
Monitors supply usage in the OR to ensure accurate charges are submitted.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills in anticipating the needs of the OR.
Assists in pre-op, recovery, and central sterile areas as needed or directed to maintain operational efficiency.
Accurately prepares charts and speaks with patients prior to day of surgery to assure all pertinent information is present and relayed to the patient.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday through Friday; start and end times fluctuate, with earliest start time 0600.
Remains flexible with dynamic work schedule to meet staffing needs.
No call.
No holidays.
