Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation.
Unit Details: Team nursing and pod system with a social worker assigned to the department and a unit educator. Patient ratios: 4:1 Main ED and 6:1 Fast Track. Uses Zoll defibrillator, Level One blood transfuser, QinFlow blood warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, and ultrasound-guided IV. Patient population/common presentations include ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
Shift & Scheduling: Minimum of two weekends per schedule. No call.
