Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years minimum specialty experience in post-partum, antepartum, or LDRP unit.
  • Care of patients on magnesium.
  • Preeclampsia.

Unit Details:

  • Provides postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care to a high-risk population and well newborn care as part of rooming-in service.
  • High-risk obstetric unit with high-risk antepartum patients; level 4 NICU and level 4 high-risk labor and delivery support.
  • Manages high- and low-risk couplets, at-risk newborns needing antibiotics and/or oral glucose stabilization, newborns 35 weeks and greater, and some gyn overflow.
  • Many patients are on magnesium and/or insulin drips.
  • Neonate, infant, and adult patient population.
  • Ratios: 1:3 stable normal couplets, 1:2 if it’s couplets with complications (late preterm, mom on Mag, etc).

Shift & Scheduling:

  • No call.
  • Every other weekend.
  • 12 weekend shifts per contract.

Floating Requirements:

  • Floating: If they have labor skills, then possible.
