Required Skills/Experience:
In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you're applying to.
Special Requests:
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit.
If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift.
Unit Details:
May be the only nursery RN on the shift at times.
Accepts infants in labor and delivery at delivery and admits them to the nursery.
Sick-infant care includes oxygen, IVs, blood draws, and assisting with intubation/UVC.
Initiates transfers to another facility.
Provides care to Nursery patients during the immediate neonatal phase, including newborn care.
Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
