Travel Nurse (RN) - Mother/Baby

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Required skills include blood/blood products administration.
• Required skills include drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps.
• Required skills include wound vacs.
• Required skills include heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
• OB-GYN, postoperative, and post-vaginal-delivery care are required.
• Postpartum readmission care is required.
• Normal newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management, is required.

Required Credentials:

• If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.
• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:

• RTO must be listed at time of submission.
• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

• Unit care includes postpartum vaginal or cesarean deliveries, tubal ligation, circumcision, GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum care, and transition nursery.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekends are required to meet staffing needs.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating may be required to NICU or L&D and may also include First Hill Campus.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
