Travel Nurse (RN) - PCU Float Pool

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 1 to 2 years experience required. Work settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown. Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry - on the unit monitoring. Cardiovascular: Pre/Post Cardiac Cath.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiovascular: Sheath removal. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. IV therapy/phlebotomy: Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.

Required Credentials: You must have a MO license and be in the process of applying for a KS license, or vice versa, or you must have a compact license to apply.

Special Requests: If requesting 7 days of RTO, the expectation is that the missed time is made up.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for patients with sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFIB, GIB, stroke, and COVID. Uses virtual nurses, 12 lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, and Omnicell. Charge RN assignments as needed per unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday shifts as needed per unit. 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S. No call. No more than 7 days of RTO.

Floating Requirements: Float pool position; will not be assigned a home unit. Will float between roughly 5 Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU departments and to other Metro campuses as needed.
