Travel Allied (Surgical Tech) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:

• First-time travelers not accepted.
• Scrub proficiency in vascular, neuro/neurohybrid, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gyn, and carotid/endarterectomy cases.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Robotics experience with DaVinci D5 preferred.

Special Requests:

• RTO approval requires nurse manager approval.

Unit Details:

• Case mix includes vascular, neuro/neurohybrid, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gyn, and carotid/endarterectomy procedures.
• Uses Cerner, Plum ICU Medical IV pumps, Omnicell, Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic, OR bed, stretcher, and DaVinci D5.
• 1 RN and 1 tech in each case.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation based on unit needs.
• On-call required; number of hours will be determined by the schedule.
• 40-minute response time for call.
• Holiday expectations based on unit needs.
• Schedule cycle is made in 6-week increments.

Floating Requirements:

• Relieve others for lunch breaks anywhere in the OR.
