Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have current cath lab experience.
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors), as well as balloon pumps.

Required Credentials:

• RCIS or CCT not accepted.

Special Requests:

• The assignment is open to block scheduling on Friday-Sunday.
• Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
• Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
• Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details:

• The cath lab is a STEMI receiving facility.
• Cath lab cases are performed with 2 technologists: 1 scrub technologist and 1 technologist monitoring hemodynamics. A 4th person, either an RN or technologist, may be present depending on the case.
• An RN performs conscious sedation.
• Cases include cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, neuro intervention, and EP procedures.
• The lab handles an average of 10-22 cases per day total.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift may be 10s or 12s.
• Weeknight call rotates 1x/week for inpatient cases, emergent cases, etc.
• Weekend call is 1 weekend/month and runs from Fri evening through Mon AM. This is subject to change depending on the needs of the unit.
