Travel Allied (Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Required Skills/Experience:

• First-time travelers not accepted.
• Must be able to scrub and pan simultaneously; Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Hybrid and EP experience preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adults only; inpatient and outpatient; intraprocedural only with no pre/post duties.
• Cath Lab cases include diagnostic and interventional heart caths, right heart caths, Impella, balloon pump, thrombectomies, high-risk procedures, STEMI/MI, some CTOs, and PFO closure.
• EP cases include temporary and permanent pacemakers, tilt table tests, ablations, and MitraClip.
• Hybrid cases include AAA repair, Watchman, TAVR, and carotids.
• Uses Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Merge hemodynamics, GE PACS, GE Cardio (EP), Siemens and Philips rooms, Inari, and Penumbra.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• Weekend rotation: call only.
• On-call 10-11 shifts per month, including 2 weekends per month (F/Sa/Su).
• Weekday call is 1530-0700; weekend call is 1530 Friday-0700 Monday.
• 30-minute response time.
• Three-person call team: 1 nurse, 1 tech, and 1 nurse or tech.
• No sleep rooms.
• Closed on holidays; call team only. 1-2 holidays of call per contract.

Floating Requirements:

• Could float to IR to assist if trained and comfortable.
