Travel Allied (CT Technologist) - CT

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• CAT SCAN required

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Six months CT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital.

Required Credentials:

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Unit Details:

• Performs complex CT procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures.
• Uses PACS and Epic for image review, documentation, and scheduling outside studies.
• Administers contrast for CT exams and performs venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures.

Special Requests:

• Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify the clinician from proceeding.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.
• Every third weekend. Holidays as needed. No on-call.
• Overtime as needed to provide continual quality patient care.
