Required Credentials: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. Associate's Degree in Ultrasound.
Unit Details: Provides ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients and technical assistance with exercise and non-exercise stress testing. Performs two-dimensional echocardiography and uses M-Mode, pulsed and continuous-wave Doppler, color flow Doppler, and contrast echocardiography. Evaluates ventricular systolic and diastolic function, wall motion abnormalities, valvular insufficiencies, stenosis, regurgitation, shunts, congenital heart malformations, and acquired pathologies. Assists with dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and functional, pharmacological cardiolite, and echocardiography stress testing. Includes pediatric echocardiograms and participation in mobile echo/vascular service regionally.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday; 715am - 345pm. Start times: 645,700,715,730. Weekend rotation. Rotating weekday call 4p-7a and callback rotation. Holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
