An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year OB setting.
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience.
• OB, C-section, C.N.A. support, and use of the Jada system for hemorrhage.

Required Credentials:

• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required.

Special Requests:

• Blackout dates: Christmas and New Year's.

Unit Details:

• Only C-section cases, both planned and emergent, averaging 3-4 cases per day.
• Will assist with transport from room to OR, support vaginal deliveries, perform C.N.A. work between cases, and help with circumcision setup and takedown.
• C.N.A. duties on the floor include vital signs, ambulating, stocking, and baby baths.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every 3rd weekend.
• Rarely asked to take call.
• Set hours per week may not apply during orientation week or holidays when the unit is closed.
