Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Associate of Applied Science degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography program (2-year program). Registry eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS. RCS certification eligible through CCI.
Required Skills/Experience: Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), including inpatient portable echocardiography and outpatient echocardiography. Structural heart familiarity. Ultrasound contrast and agitated saline use. Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), including TEE probe high-level disinfection (HLD). Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE).
Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric Echocardiography.
Special Requests: Previous travelers that have worked at Bassett for 1 year must take a 9 month break before returning as a traveler.
Unit Details: Uses Philips EPIQ ultrasound system.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call approximately every 5th weekend (Friday to Monday), one night per week, and potential holiday coverage. Must respond within 1 hour.
