Registered Nurse

Floating Requirements:

Unit and facility details: The scope of practice may include the care of neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults throughout the life cycle. 

Shift & Scheduling: 

 - 8 & 12-Hour Shifts/Start Times at 7am, 11am or 3pm.
 - Weekends by Department Rotation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Previous Med/Surg experience required.

Special Requests:

Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Block schedule may be considered.
RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission.

Unit Details:
No clinical involvement.
No fast track or separate triage area.
ER holds are intermixed within the ER; unit includes psych/seclusion rooms.
Charge nurse is present each shift and takes patients.
RNs read their own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors.
No RT in the ER.
Lab staff draw labs.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day/night rotation: 7a-7p one week and 7p-7a the next.
Every other weekend.
Holidays required if they fall in the blocked schedule.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
Float to Med/Surg and swing bed on the same unit.

Required Skills/Experience:
- 2-3 years with ED experience required.

Unit Details:
- ED and Med/Surg RN role with a 50/50 split caring for inpatient, observation, hospice, swing bed, and extended ED boarder patients.
- Nurses care for both inpatients and ED patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
- 12 hr variable day and night shifts, including 19:00 - 07:30.
- Every 3rd and/or additional weekends (2 weekends in a row).
- Holidays as needed.
- Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours.

Floating Requirements:
- Combined unit of Med/Surg and ED; may float to Infusion Therapy Clinic for medication co-sign/break relief if needed.

 - Education: Associate Degree or Certificate

Unit Details:
- Level 2 trauma, stroke, and STEMI center.
- Patient ratios are generally 4:1, but not fixed.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Variable 12-hour day/night shifts: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.
- Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours.
- Every other weekend and holidays as needed. May need to work Labor Day.
