Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of RNFA experience, with a strong focus on OB-GYN (C-sections, robotic surgery) and general surgery (including robotics).
Prior travel experience required.

Required Credentials:
Successful completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards.
RNFA credentialing through NBSTSA or NCCSA required.

Special Requests:
Required certifications cannot expire the same month as the potential start date to apply.

Unit Details:
RN first assist role under direct surgeon supervision; duties include suturing, providing exposure, and controlling bleeding.

Shift & Scheduling:
OB call only, one week on and one week off.

Registered Nurse

Previous RN circulator experience preferred.
Scrub experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials:
BSN preferred.
Peri-op 101 course preferred.

Unit Details:
Intraoperative perioperative nursing in the operating room and other perioperative service areas for all patient populations.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-call required on a regular scheduled rotation.

Floating Requirements:
Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Skills/Experience:
Endovascular and hybrid room experience.
Running wires.
Must have broad knowledge of surgical equipment, including Intuitive Surgical Systems XI & SI.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials:
Must be certified as a surgical technologist or military trained.
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Preferred Credentials:
ASATT preferred.

Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status, if former employee.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Adult acute care operating room focused on advanced oncology surgical cases. Specialties include Bariatrics, Ortho, Podiatry, Neuro, ENT, OMFS, GYN, General, Colorectal, Urology, Hepatobiliary, Plastics, Eye, Vascular, Thoracic, Organ Harvest, and Endovascular.
Open heart and organ transplant cases are not performed.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-call required: Weekday call 16 hours every 4 weeks.
Weekend call: 24 hours every 4 weeks.
Weekend shifts are required in lieu of weekday shifts as needed for department needs.
