Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
- Associate's Degree in Related Field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology
- Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Unit Details:
- Performs computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures using various imaging equipment and contrast material.
- Performs multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered images independently.
- Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast when appropriate.
- May be required to perform duties of other modalities within the department if licensed/cross-trained.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday schedule; weekend shifts required.
- Holiday shifts required, including July 4th.
Floating Requirements:
- Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
