Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Outpatient lab experience required.
- Non-gynecological skills/experience: Ascitic Fluid, Esophageal, Gastric, Spinal, Thin-Prep.
- Respiratory tract skills/experience: Bronchial.
- Body fluid test skills/experience: Urine.
- Fine needle aspiration skills/experience: Assist, Make smears, Preliminary Diagnosis, Staining.
- Special stains/organisms skills/experience: PAP.
- Assist with on-site procedures, quality control/quality assurance, and specimen labeling/identification.
- Experience with/ability to perform QC required.
- Cyto lab Prep experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Teaching hospital experience.
- Community hospital experience.
- LTAC experience.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation
Special Requests:
- Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints.
- Ideally no more than 5 days of RTO.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri; no weekends.
- No call.
- 13-26 weeks available.
