Required Skills/Experience:

• Maternal fetal medicine sonographer experience required.
• Must have prior MFM experience for at least one year.

Unit Details:

• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer - General Sonography
• Performs comprehensive obstetric ultrasounds, including first trimester scans (NT, early anatomy), detailed second- and third-trimester anatomy surveys, growth and biophysical profiles (BPP), multiple gestations, cervical length assessment, placental evaluation/PAS, and Doppler studies (umbilical artery, MCA, ductus venosus).
• Evaluates complex maternal and fetal conditions, identifies abnormal findings, and supports fetal therapy and invasive procedures; amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), PUBS (cordocentesis), and selective fetal reduction are performed by physicians.
• Provides care to patients facing high-risk pregnancies.
• Uses EMR/PACS systems and Samsung Hera Z20 ultrasound equipment.
• Anatomy scans are 45 minutes (90 for twins); follow-up/NT early anatomy exams are 30 minutes (60 for twins).
• Abnormal results are called to providers promptly, and consults are performed bedside.
