Required Skills/Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans.

Required Credentials:

• Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required.
• Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in OB / OB GYN.

Preferred Credentials:

• Fetal Echocardiography (FE).

Unit Details:

• Maternal-fetal ultrasound role assisting the radiologist/supervising physician with invasive diagnostic techniques and procedures.
• Provides standardization and training to residents regarding these exams.
• Performs maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, fetal wellbeing (including biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, amniotic fluid assessments), needle procedure guidance, examinations of maternal pelvic anatomy (including transvaginal cervical assessment), and advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques.
• Records anatomical, pathological, and physiological data, obtains Doppler signals and Doppler shift recordings, and advises the radiologist and/or referring OB provider of exam results and preliminary diagnostic evaluation.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4x 9 hr shifts and 1 x 4 hr shift (1/2-day Friday).
• Every other weekend.
• Every other holiday.
• No call.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
