Required Skills/Experience: Minimum two-year clinical experience in the respective department required.
Unit Details: Inpatient role performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in general imaging. Exams include diagnostic ultrasound of various organs and soft tissue; some invasive procedures may include paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy exams per policy. Exams may be performed in the ultrasound department or on other departments or nursing floors as needed. Patient population includes infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Uses ultrasound imaging equipment and reading/reporting systems.
Shift & Scheduling: Tues-Fri. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays. One additional shift is required during each schedule period. Call requirements: To be discussed during interview.
Floating Requirements: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
