Travel EP Tech jobs are found in hospitals and cardiac centers with dedicated electrophysiology labs nationwide. An Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist is a cardiovascular professional who assists physicians during procedures that diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), such as cardiac ablations and pacemaker or defibrillator implants. Job responsibilities include preparing the EP lab, operating mapping and recording systems, monitoring cardiac rhythms in real time, maintaining a sterile field, and supporting the electrophysiologist throughout the procedure.
