Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed if 3 years of experience in a high acuity hospital. Can consider candidates with extensive Level II experience at a high acuity hospital. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required. CV ICU, cardiac step down, or general cardiac experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: CV experience preferred over Level I trauma experience. Teaching Hospital Experience.
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Provides family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families. Mixed CVPICU and PICU patient population. Cares for cardiac, respiratory, neuro/neurosurgical, trauma, and heart, liver, and kidney transplant patients. Includes medical and surgical cases such as acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multisystem organ failure, and ECMO. 1:1 patient ratio.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. No call.
Floating Requirements: May float to NICU and general care.
