Required Credentials:

• Associate's Degree in Related Field. OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Radiologic Technology experience in a procedural setting.
• Interventional Neurology experience preferred, including cerebral arterial/venous and kyphoplasty.

Unit Details:

• Heart & Vascular Institute role supporting patients requiring invasive cardiology or invasive radiology studies.
• Assists the physician with procedures, administers contrast as appropriate, and assesses patients for allergies.
• Procedures include peripheral vascular work, venous central lines, tube changes, venous and arterial embolization, venous thrombectomy, dialysis work (AV fistulas, tunneled dialysis catheters, peritoneal dialysis catheters), and tube access and changes including G-tube, chole, neph, biliary, abscess, and SPC.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• Weekend and holiday shifts are call only on a rotation.
• Variable and late shift duties as assigned to meet department needs.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital.
• The Carle leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
