References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Community hospital experience is required.
• Recent blood bank experience required.

Required Credentials:

• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:

• RTO must be listed at time of submission.
• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Generalist bench coverage in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, serology, and limited microbiology.
• Fast-paced lab supporting Trauma 3, open heart, 2 cath labs, and an oncology clinic (active 600 pts/month).
• Blood bank is usually covered if the traveler extends.
• No antibody ID required.
