Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Two years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist preferred. Cross-trained into other modalities, including CT, MRI, and DEXA preferred.
Unit Details: Women's health and breast imaging role within radiology. Performs mammography exams per imaging department protocols or radiologist direction. Includes patient education, medical history review, informed consent, and documentation in the EHR. Includes daily QA, preventive maintenance scheduling, equipment troubleshooting, and audit/accreditation record maintenance. Uses PACS and RIS/HIS. May assist with other clinic functions, clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation as needed.
Shift & Scheduling: May need to adjust schedule and take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.
