Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Strong skills in screening and diagnostic mammography (including special views); solid breast anatomy/pathology knowledge; experience with Hologic Selenia units; QC testing and documentation; image quality assessment/troubleshooting; patient education and communication; strong attention to detail, problem-solving, adaptability with challenging patients/workflows, and strong work ethics with staff.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
3 Minimum in hospital setting preferred
Bone Density, Breast Ultrasound, Knowledge of EMR, RIS, PACS, and MRS Software programs
Required Credentials: MQSA/FDA Initial Qualifications and up-to-date continuing education hours and experience
Shift & Scheduling:
Mon. – Fri
Weekend Hours: Sat. 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Off on the Monday prior when covering Saturday)
Call Requirements: None, no observed holidays (schedule/calendar will be provided)
Floating Requirements: Could float to other facility when needed, Women’s Imaging Center at Dove, 1100 E. Dove, Suite 100, McAllen, TX, 78503
