Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Adult and Nuclear Cardiology settings required.
- Gastric emptying, HIDA Scan, Muga Scan, 3 Phase, Whole Body Bone Scan, Liver Imaging, Perfusion, Ventilation/perfusion, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Pharmacological Stress, Isolation Precautions, Start and Maintain Peripheral IV, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials required.
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:
- Block schedule to be discussed.
- Must work 2/3 major holidays.
- Local travelers accepted for this allied position; Indiana residents are considered local.
- IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend requirement is for call; on-call rotates one week at a time for all after-hours coverage, including Saturday and Sunday.
- Flexible contract hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
