Additional Information
Preferred Skills/Experience: Two years' technical experience. Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting.
Required Credentials: Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
Preferred Credentials: Associate's/technical degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
Unit Details:
Provides personalized in-home care.
Provides physical therapy treatments, including modalities, manual techniques and common exercise techniques.
Guides patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait and balance activities.
Provides education and training to patients and caregivers.
May mentor and train staff on technical skills.
Floating Requirements:
You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
