Unit Details:
Patients of all ages are evaluated and treated.
Physical therapists use standardized outcome measures to ensure functional performance is accurately reflected.
Physical therapists collaborate with patients, families and significant others throughout the rehabilitation process and provide education and family training as necessary.
Physical therapists provide supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory agencies.
Patient performance, changes in status, activity and transfer recommendations, discharge disposition, and equipment required for the next level of care are communicated to the medical team.
Shift & Scheduling:
Mon-Fri, with 1 weekend per month.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
