    Required Skills/Experience:

    • LTC or Rehab experience required.
    • New grads accepted as long as they have Level II experience and not just Level I observation experience.

    Unit Details:

    • Treats patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs; procedures include manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive and assistive device use.
    • Productivity for evaluating therapists is 88-90% and 90-93% for assistants. Treatment times are ~1hr for Medicare B and 30-35 min for Medicare A and Managed care. Depending on case mix, therapists may have 7-12 patients on the schedule per day, with fewer for evaluating therapists if they also have evals that day.
    • Group therapy is allowed. Each therapist typically has a dedicated device for documentation.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Mon-Fri. Flexible start times as long as they are consistent and communicated with DOR; start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM.
    • No weekends unless a holiday falls within Mon-Fri, then hours may be made up on the weekend.
    • No call.
