Additional Information
Required Credentials:
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology, or verification from an ARRT-approved school of program completion and scheduled graduation date.
Unit Details:
- Independently performs diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols and adjusts protocols as needed.
- Uses complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data.
- Administers PO and rectal contrast per physician orders and department policy.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Rotating shift.
Special Requests:
- May be eligible for an earlier start date if you have recent PA fingerprint results and PA Child Abuse Clearance results obtained within the last 5 years.

A Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray), often called a Rad Tech or Radiographer, is an allied health professional who performs diagnostic X-ray imaging to help physicians diagnose injuries and illness. Job responsibilities include positioning patients, selecting the correct exposure settings, capturing clear radiographic images of bones, the chest, and other body regions, and following radiation-protection (ALARA) principles to keep patients and staff safe. Radiologic Technologists are certified through the ARRT (R) and are often the foundation of a facility’s imaging department.
