Additional Details:
Covid declinations: Subject to weekly testing with approved exemption.
Required Credentials:
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
Unit Details:
- Outpatient medical imaging role; positions the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle in preparation for x-ray.
- Performs imaging procedures at a level not requiring direct supervision, operates x-ray equipment, processes images, and documents into PACS.
- Provides basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens including blood draws if qualified, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting the clinician.
- Maintains an orderly, well-stocked area with supplies and equipment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- May be scheduled on weekends.
- Holidays as required. -7:30am start time, May be scheduled on Weekends
Floating Requirements:
- May also float to Main Radiology as needed.
