Required Skills/Experience: 5+ years ultrasound experience in OB/GYN.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- MFM experience.
- High risk obstetrical experience of 2 years desirable but not required. Experience in multiples and detecting birth defects. Knowledge in performing Detailed or Targeted anatomical surveys which includes evaluating fetal hearts per AIUM’s detailed protocol. Voluson E10 equipment experience desired but not required.
Required Credentials:
- OB/GYN registered by ARDMS.
- NT certified by Fetal-Medicine Foundation or NTQR.
- Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Unit and facility details: Candidate will work in a busy OB/GYN outpatient imaging center. They will work as a team with other staff sonographers and work closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians who interpret our OB ultrasounds. Will perform 1st trimester OB scans, anatomy scans (including detailed scans-76811), OB follow ups, BPP’s, UA Dopplers, MCA Dopplers, Nuchal Translucency, Multiples, GYN exams (Transvaginal or Transabdominal), Saline Infusion Sonography and ultrasound guided IUD placement and removals.
Shift & Scheduling: Clinic Hours: 7 am – 4 pm M-F (30 or 60 min lunch, depending on patient needs). Weekend morning coverage - will know on Friday if ultrasound coverage is needed for weekend. Rotation every 2nd or 3rd weekend (negotiable).
Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
