Required Skills/Experience:
In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you're applying to.

Unit Details:
The facility does not have 24/7 in-house pharmacy coverage.
Clinical pharmacist duties include verifying provider orders, medication dispensing, Omnicell restocking, medication preparation, and supervising pharmacy technicians.
The role includes collaborating with physicians on drugs and dosing; educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications; supporting medication safety initiatives and maintaining patient profiles; avoiding and reporting adverse drug reactions; mixing IV admixtures and nutritional supplements; and narcotic accountability.
The patient population includes patients of all ages.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, with 1 weekend per month from 7a-2:30p.
Call is shared among 5 pharmacists, with rotating weekday call from 1700-0700 and weekend call from 1430-0700, up to 7 days of call per month.
Holiday shifts are required.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
