Additional Information
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required; 2 years of experience in a pediatric hospital.
- Must have experience from a 30 bed or greater PICU.
- Manager will consider candidates with only PICU experience if all other requirements are met.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 2 years of CVPICU experience preferred.
Unit Details:
- Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.
- Cares for patients with congenital heart disease, pre- and post-surgical needs, heart failure, heart and lung transplants, and pulmonary hypertension.
- ECMO; travelers will not be responsible for running the ECMO circuit.
- Mechanical support (VADs).
- CRRT; travelers will not be expected to care for these patients.
- Ventilators, RA lines, pacemaker wires, and chest tubes.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Will float to PCU, NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
