You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Cardiac and telemetry experience requested.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Gyn/Onc surgery experience preferred.
• Observation patient management preferred.
• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
• Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Observation unit caring for chest pain rule-out patients.
• Supports the ED when the house is full and patients are being held.
• Many patients are cardiac.
• Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend; 4-6 weekend shifts in 8 weeks.

Floating Requirements:

• Float between all MedSurg units, including ED overflow and an Observation Unit; may float to Psych as well.
