Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have Total Joint Replacement experience and not just fractures.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system. Previous permanent staff must have been gone for 2 years. Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years. Travel teams must be submitted together.
Unit Details: Patient population includes ortho joints, replacements, and fractures. Unit includes telemetry, but RNs do not have to read strips.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts per schedule. Travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements: Possibly to 7E, 7W, 10W, and 10E.
