Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong experience in trauma (no burns), neuro, general, vascular, ENT, ortho spine, ortho with total joint experience, gyn, endovascular, urology, robotics for both general and neuro, plastics, breasts, and eyes required.
• First-time travelers are accepted with at least 2 years of experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Robotics experience with Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI preferred.

Unit Details:

• The position is for General/Trauma and backs up Ortho, Neuro, and ENT.
• RN duties are limited to circulating.
• Patient population includes minimal pediatric cases, typically orthopedic.
• Unit support includes ORA, a desk assistant, a charge nurse, and team leaders for service lines.
• Equipment includes Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Spacelabs monitors.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Expected to take buddy call during orientation.
• On-call schedule: 1 day a weekday, one weekend a month (Friday 3p-7a, Saturday 24 hours, and Sunday 24 hours), with a 30 min response time.
• Expected to work a holiday per contract.
• Schedule cycle is determined by department needs.
