Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Management of vasoactive drips.
Unit Details: Patient ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 AM or 1:4 PM, 1:5 PM (with patient care techs). Typically total RN-based care with no techs unless stretched; secretaries are scheduled 7am-7pm in the PCU and are available for a number of resources. Uses BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps. Typical procedures performed on the unit include central line or PICC line placement and chest tube placements.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred. Every 3rd weekend rotation. Rotating holiday schedule.
Floating Requirements: Floats to the Telemetry Unit. Floating is in a rotation based upon dates; bonus shifts float first.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
