    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • 3 years of experience preferred.

    Required Credentials:

    • Advanced Dysrhythmia exam required prior to acceptance; lethal rhythms are pass/fail and only one attempt is allowed.

    Special Requests:

    • Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
    • Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
    • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
    • Cannot have another job while on assignment.

    Unit Details:

    • Virtual hospital setting.
    • Performs remote surveillance for multiple locations for cardiopulmonary rhythms via a central monitoring station.
    • Recognizes, records, and reports potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols.
    • Work is primarily performed in a centralized monitoring unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
    • Uses GE and Ascom monitor equipment.
    • Opportunity to cross-train to Virtual Patient Companion or Clinical Connection Specialist roles.
    • Strict no cell phone policy; a work phone number is provided for traveler use.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • No set schedules.
    • Must be available for 2-3 days of day-shift orientation.
    • Must work 4 weekend shifts during a schedule. For night shift, weekends are Friday and Saturday; for day shift, weekends are Saturday and Sunday. This may be every other weekend or every Saturday during a 4-week period to complete the 4 shifts.
    • Holidays as needed.
    • No call, but call can occur if the census drops and someone is on low census.

    Details:

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
