Required Skills/Experience:
- No first-time travelers.
- Current cath lab experience required.
- Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps.
Required Credentials:
- RCIS and CCT are not accepted.
Special Requests:
- Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
- Travel pairs are not accepted.
Unit Details:
- Cases are done with 2 techs: 1 scrubs and 1 monitors hemodynamics. The RN provides conscious sedation. There may be a fourth person, either an RN or a tech, depending on the case. A lead tech is responsible for room assignments.
- STEMI receiving facility.
- Cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention cases.
- Uses Cerner.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases 1x/week.
- 1 weekend/month; weekend call runs from Fri evening through Mon AM and is subject to change depending on unit needs.
