Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.
Required Credentials:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluoroscopy certification required.
- Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required for RCIS and/or RCES.
Preferred Credentials:
- Associate's degree preferred.
Unit Details:
- Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, including scrub assistance and maintaining sterile conditions.
- Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events.
- Provides patient care under RN supervision and educates patients and families before and after procedures.
Shift & Scheduling:
- On-call weekdays and weekends.
