Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.

Required Credentials:

• Fluoroscopy Operator Registration is required for RCIS and/or RCES.

Preferred Credentials:

• Associate’s degree preferred.

Unit Details:

• Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN.
• Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and acts as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events.
• Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and pre- and post-procedure expectations.

Shift & Scheduling:

• On-call weekdays and weekends.
